The kids’ karate classes offered by Master S.H. Yu Martial Arts were developed through years of experience and teaching excellence. They are designed to improve the physical and mental health of your child while providing a structured training environment. Children who take these classes develop a stronger sense of self and often do better socially and academically.
Our kids’ karate classes can also benefit children with attention disorders or sensory integration as they develop self-respect and respect for others. Each of our instructors are trained and dedicated to helping your child reach their potential and develop a love of learning. Our kids’ karate classes will benefit the mental and physical growth and development of your child.
Beginner
These classes are for children in the early stages of martial arts and these classes are ongoing.
Time: Monday through Thursday 4:40 to 5:30 pm and Saturdays 9 to 10 am.
Ages: 5½ to 12 years old
Intermediate and Advanced
These classes are for more advanced karate students and can help them earn a Black Belt or become a junior instructor. They are offered all year.
Time: Monday through Thursday 5:30 to 6:20 pm and 6:20 to 7:10 pm; Fridays at 5pm; and Saturdays 9-10 am.
Ages: 10-14 years old
All of our training is done in our 5000 square foot Dojhang Environment that has a 2½ inch regulation carpet bonded foam matting that keeps our students safe with impact absorption.
